Sleeping Beauty

In trying to enhance the brain of our little almost 4-week old, I'm trying to spend time in "active play." We have been going on nature walks (I love it, she sleeps), playing with fabric blocks that have various sounds and textures (I love it, she likes sleeping more), reading books (all my favorites- while she sleeps), walking around with her in my peanut shell sling (again, she sleeps), and listening to all types of music (she's a Blue October fan for sure- or at least I enjoy listening to them while she sleeps).

BUT here is what I enjoy doing most-- besides eating and pooping!

Keira enjoyed her first walk!



Les walked Abbey for our big family outing.



She enjoyed it SO much that it put her to sleep.



We had some friends drop in that also have kids! It was a kid zoo!



We are enjoying a little snuggle time together!

She's Here!!

The way has been made for Keira Grace! We are getting adjusted to her schedule which includes a lot of eating, sleeping and pooping! BUT- most of her sleeping has been during the day and she becomes a party animal at night! We had some issues with feeding that have finally worked out. Keira is a BIG eater these days! As my grandma said- you need to throw out the book and not try to plan or schedule her- she will schedule you!
