Playtime!

My logical/mathematical side is perplexed yet again by baby K! Past scenario: put K to bed at 8:00 (feedings at 12, 2ish, and 5AM with little going back to sleep after 5AM feeding). The new scenario that has emerged this week: put K to bed at 6 or 6:30 with her NOT waking up for a feeding until 3:30 and then sleeping in until 7AM!!! Wha??? I don't understand, but I'll take it! We're on the path to sleeping through the night!!! :)

After spending the day painting like crazy to make the ALL BRIGHT WHITE walls in our new house more warm and inviting-- and fun-- Keira and I decided it was nap time!!

Who knew we would have to wear PANTS to a 4th of July BBQ?? Burrrr.... Kansas is chilly!! I squeezed Keira into a pair that are too short and tried to cover it with cute socks!!

We have all of our boxes unpacked!! Though we still have much to organize! Let the new adventure begin!!

Messy Week!

So we switched to Emfamil "Gentle Ease" formula because of K's gas issues... BUT if anyone knows if the trade off for this switch means less gas and HUGE poo-splosions- let me know!! After putting on a "day diaper" (the cheap Target brand) K exploded out of her diaper, all over her onesie, and all over Les- hehe! THEN as we were trying to entertain K and keep her up a little later in the evening so she'll sleep past 5AM, I tried to make funny faces at her while eating curry and managed to flip my spoon out of my bowl, and get curry all over K! YIKES!! You should have seen her face. It has been a messy week!!
