New Suit!

We are ready for our swim class in October!!!

Gearing Up for Fall!

Burrrr!! I dressed K all up for our walk this morning complete with long-sleeved onesie, pants, socks, jacket, and hood. I decided that the stocking cap I had put on her was a bit much, so we left that behind. After getting her all bundled up, she gave me such a funny look like “what in the world are you doing to me mom??” It was chilly! We’re not in Texas anymore!! I’m having memories of when my mom made me wear those snow boots in second grade and I didn’t think they matched my outfit so I threw a fit! It’s all going to come back to haunt me isn’t it??

Carrots RULE! Squash makes me drool!

K has decided that carrots are AWESOME and squash is not so good… In an effort to keep up with trying new solids, we had a breakthrough today with the carrots! She ate the entire serving and kept smiling the entire time! Maybe it’s because daddy is so entertaining! Whatever—go carrots!!!! I’m ready to move on to bigger and better things—like pears!!!





Feet are fun toys and taste sooooo good!!!

Heisman Girl!

Firsts!

K is able to roll from back to front very quickly by throwing her legs over, but she gets to her tummy and is stuck. Unable to figure out how to turn back over, she kicks her legs and does her new thing of screaming-- a very vocal, high pitched piercing shriek-- that is her new way to communicate with us! Yikes! Learn English already!!! Here are some more firsts...


Leave K alone ONE DAY with the grandparents, and they get her into her first bikini!

Busy HOT August!!!

It's OFFICIAL!! Dr. K is in the HOUSE!!!! And Little K did AMAZING on the plane ride! She actually threw her arms up and laughed when the plane dipped into landing while mommy closed her eyes and hid under the seat! This is a picture of me on 3 hours of sleeep!
