Eating Experiments...
K insists on "eating" everything that we are eating at the table. Here is her attempt at pancakes... very artistic, but not much went into the mouth.
Her other new thing is biting/sucking on clementines. She absolutely LOVES gnawing on them and breaking in through the skin to the juicy center!
She also tries to eat books... this book "My Sheep" is her favorite-- I start to read it and she takes it from me and starts chomping!

Let the holidays begin!
K's sporting her new pants from Grandma K. They are size 12-18 months, but we just rolled them right up and away we go! It's nice to have some pants that are actually long enough to cover her legs!
Shoes have absolutely no function at this age except as chew toys!

So we had a play date last week. Picture K with a sweet 6 month old innocently laying on the floor smiling. K proceeds to smack toys together, scream, drop/throw toys at her friend who just looked at her with wide-eyed confusion… I spent most of the time apologizing. Her new things: high pitched screams (exercising vocal cords), banging toys together, hitting herself with toys, throwing toys with much force. We do not have a girly girl! Also note, she is wearing a 12-18 month outfit in this video!! I wanted to enroll her in dance later, but now I’m thinking boxing, wrestling, or shot-put would be better choices.

Baby K #2 - the first glimpse!
We had our first sonogram today and it looks like I'm about 9 weeks along. There is only ONE baby in there- and it's heartbeat is at 155. All is well so far!! Here's the first picture of our little peanut- scheduled to arrive June 3rd!
